Data Science project — League of Legends dataset.
I found a dataset containing over 50,000 ranked matches in EUW and I want to find out what are the biggest factors in winning a game on LoL.
League of Legends, LoL, is an incredibly popular multiplayer online battle arena, MOBA. The game has a huge esports scene with prizes in the millions. I played LoL from seasons 3–5 playing the character Ryze shown above.
I found this dataset on kaggle and it contains data from over 50,000 ranked matches in EUW for the current season. Even though I don’t play LoL anymore I am still curious what factors influence the winning team. I still have some friends that play so maybe I can also use data science to help them become better players.
